1. Safeguard store assets against theft and collaborate with the Leadership team to maintain operational controls.
2. Provide professional and knowledgeable service to clients, ensuring a secure shopping environment.
3. Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify and deter potential thefts.
4. Adhere to all legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
5. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
6. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
7. Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases as required.
8. Conduct new hire and ongoing employee training to enhance store loss prevention awareness.
9. Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to the Leadership team and District Loss Prevention Manager.
10. Assist in inventory preparation and process, partnering with stores and DLPM to develop and execute shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
2. High School diploma or equivalent.
3. Satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements as required by local jurisdiction.

1. Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
3. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
4. Flexibility to work various hours and days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. Ability to work at multiple locations within a market.

Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Compensation ranges from CAD$18.60 to CAD$23.25 per hour, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
