- Safeguard store assets against theft and collaborate with management to implement operational controls and reduce shrinkage.
- Provide friendly, professional service and inform customers effectively.
- Conduct surveillance and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter potential theft.
- Adhere to all Sephora policies regarding arrests, seizures, and evidence preservation.
- Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and audits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, other retailers, law enforcement, and mall security.
- Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
- Provide training for new hires and employees on loss prevention awareness.
- Perform in-store audits, inspections, and communicate results to store management and district loss prevention manager.
- Assist in stock preparation and processes with store management.
- Collaborate with stores and district loss prevention manager to create and execute loss prevention plans.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in asset protection or loss prevention within retail.
- Meet and maintain licensing requirements as mandated by provincial or local authorities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in listening, interviewing, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to remain calm and provide effective guidance on loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to work across multiple stores within the market.

Minimum 3 years of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within the retail industry.
