1. Safeguard store assets against theft and collaborate with management to implement operational controls and reduce shrinkage.
2. Provide friendly, professional service and inform customers effectively.
3. Conduct surveillance and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter potential theft.
4. Adhere to all Sephora policies regarding arrests, seizures, and evidence preservation.
5. Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and audits.
6. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, other retailers, law enforcement, and mall security.
7. Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
8. Provide training for new hires and employees on loss prevention awareness.
9. Perform in-store audits, inspections, and communicate results to store management and district loss prevention manager.
10. Assist in stock preparation and processes with store management.
11. Collaborate with stores and district loss prevention manager to create and execute loss prevention plans.

1. Minimum of 1 year experience in asset protection or loss prevention within retail.
2. Meet and maintain licensing requirements as mandated by provincial or local authorities.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in listening, interviewing, and interpersonal communication.
4. Ability to remain calm and provide effective guidance on loss prevention techniques.
5. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
6. High school diploma or equivalent.
7. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Capability to work across multiple stores within the market.
