1. Safeguard store assets against theft through surveillance and adherence to loss prevention protocols.
2. Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify and deter potential thefts.
3. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and accident investigations.
4. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, and mall security.
5. Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
6. Conduct store self-audits, safety inspections, and communicate findings to store leadership.
7. Assist in inventory preparation and execution of shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment.
2. Meet and maintain all licensing requirements as per provincial or local jurisdiction.
3. High School diploma or equivalent.

1. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
3. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

At least 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention in a retail setting is required.
