- Enhance and maintain store asset protection awareness through participation in store meetings and training sessions.
- Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to develop and execute safety and shrink plans.
- Utilize CCTV systems and exception-based reporting to investigate internal and external losses.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
- Adhere to all legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
- Provide testimony in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
- Support store leadership and staff during peak hours on the sales floor.
- Work across multiple store locations if hired in a multi-store area.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations, loss prevention, security, or asset protection within a service environment.
- Ability to satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements as mandated by state or local jurisdiction.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk the sales floor for the entire shift, with or without accommodation.
- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in operations, loss prevention, security, or asset protection in a service environment is required.
$25.00 - $29.50 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
