1. Safeguard store assets against theft through surveillance and CCTV monitoring.
2. Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, search, and evidence preservation.
3. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and audits.
4. Foster professional relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, and mall security.
5. Testify in court for company-related criminal or civil cases.
6. Conduct employee training to enhance loss prevention awareness.
7. Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections.
8. Collaborate with store leadership and district loss prevention managers on shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail setting.
2. Meet all provincial or local licensing requirements.
3. High School diploma or equivalent.

1. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
3. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.

Minimum 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
