Sephora AI & Microservices Platform Intern

- Assist in the development and implementation of Agentic AI frameworks to automate specific Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) steps, such as code generation, testing, or deployment.
- Participate in building and maintaining the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, crucial for managing the context and communication between different AI agents.
- Contribute to the design and development of AI agents that interact with the Kubernetes platform.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate AI automation tools into existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Write and test code, debug issues, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software.
- Document work and findings to create a knowledge base for new automation initiatives.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Graduating in 2026 or 2027 (undergraduate or graduate degree).
- Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
- Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts (e.g., Pods, Deployments, Services) is a plus.
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or automation.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
No prior professional experience required, but familiarity with programming languages and basic Kubernetes concepts is beneficial.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
The target hourly pay for this position is $25.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
Interns will benefit from hands-on learning, networking opportunities, and exposure to Sephora's career growth paths. The program includes a one-week on-site experience in San Francisco and a week off for Summer Shutdown.
