Rubattel & Weyermann Spray Coating Supervisor

- Supervise all processes related to varnishing, zaponning, and lacquering, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
- Manage the team by distributing tasks, reviewing job descriptions, setting objectives and indicators, conducting annual reviews, and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Coordinate and guide team members, providing training and motivation.
- Ensure the quality of treated pieces at each stage by adhering to self-inspection procedures.
- Assist the team daily with technical, organizational, or methodological aspects.
- Improve and stabilize production processes through work instructions, routings, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure varnishing equipment is well-maintained and operates optimally by planning preventive maintenance and reporting repair needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the spray workshop, providing appropriate protective equipment to staff.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and necessary supplies.
- Regularly communicate with the sector manager to report progress, issues, and resource needs.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in varnishing, preferably in dial manufacturing or the watchmaking industry.
- In-depth knowledge of varnishing techniques and materials used in the process.
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a team, with excellent personnel management skills. Management experience required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively manage emergency situations.
- Keen organizational and planning skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at various hierarchical levels and across different departments.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a relentless pursuit of excellence in the varnishing process.
A minimum of 5 years in varnishing, preferably within the dial or watchmaking industry.
