Rolex Watchmaking Team Manager

Rolex is a privately owned Swiss luxury watch manufacturer renowned for precision engineering, artisanal watchmaking and in-house production. 1. Lead, motivate and coach a dedicated watch assembly team, transmitting strategic orientations and setting individual performance objectives.
2. Support team members in achieving targets and developing watchmaking competencies through on-the-job coaching and structured development.
3. Create and sustain a positive working climate that encourages communication, trust and team cohesion.
4. Manage operational performance by deploying and improving steering and reporting tools to meet production objectives.
5. Balance workload and capacity planning for the unit, taking into account internal client constraints and production priorities.
6. Develop constructive relationships with stakeholders to promote information flow and identify opportunities for process improvement.
7. Coordinate multidisciplinary projects within the production environment to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

1. CFC (Swiss Federal VET Certificate) in watchmaking (or equivalent vocational watchmaking qualification).
2. Initial management experience; proven ability to lead small teams in an industrial watchmaking context.
3. Demonstrated success managing agile production teams within a horological/manufacturing environment.
4. Natural leadership with strong listening skills, empathy and the ability to foster team engagement.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities when interacting with operators and stakeholders.
