Rolex Technical Specialist - Machining

- Conduct machinability tests on CNC lathes and turning machines at a horological scale, focusing on coatings, cutting conditions, and tool geometry.
- Program and operate machining and measurement equipment within a dedicated R&D cell, including CNC equipment, dynamometers, and 3D scanners.
- Develop instrumentation strategies to enhance understanding of machining processes.
- Analyze cutting tools and propose optimizations for improved performance.
- Design and manufacture fixtures suitable for testing purposes.
- Identify and analyze root causes of production issues such as premature tool wear, high cycle times, and aesthetic variability.
- Process, interpret, and present test results in a coherent manner.
- CFC in mechanics, micromechanics, or equivalent qualification.
- Additional training in bar turning is advantageous.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in a bar turning reference role within precision mechanics.
- Proficiency in CNC programming is beneficial.
- Strong interest in exploring new machining approaches.
- Proactive, dynamic, and autonomous with excellent teamwork skills.
- Rigorous and methodical approach to work.
- Strong client orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
A minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in a bar turning reference role within precision mechanics is required.
CFC in mechanics, micromechanics, or equivalent qualification.
