Rolex Reliability Modeling Intern (Industrial Equipment)

- Identify and analyse principal failure modes of industrial equipment through data and inspection records
- Develop and calibrate statistical models of failure rates (time-to-failure modelling)
- Implement one or more predictive models for equipment failure to support maintenance decision-making
- Propose an optimal maintenance strategy based on failure‑rate probabilities and identified failure modes
- Produce a comprehensive internal technical report documenting methodology, results and recommendations
- Support engineering and maintenance teams in project implementation and knowledge transfer
- Enrolled in a Master’s programme in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Microtechnology, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of statistical reliability methods (e.g. Weibull distribution)
- Proficiency in programming for data analysis (example: Python)
- Strong analytical reasoning and quantitative modelling skills
- Service‑oriented, proactive, autonomous and able to collaborate with technical teams

No specific length of professional experience required; academic coursework or project experience in statistical modelling, reliability analysis, machine learning or predictive maintenance is highly desirable.
Master's candidate in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Microtechnology, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent programme.
