Rolex R&D Engineer

- Propose and implement research and development projects related to the machinability of new materials and associated technologies.
- Coordinate and lead team activities to resolve complex machinability issues in support of production teams.
- Manage cross-functional projects with partner departments such as R&D, Industrialization, Production, Industrial Logistics, and Quality.
- Collaborate on projects with academic and industrial partners.
- Formalize and communicate methodologies and results through technical reports and presentations.
- Conduct scientific and technical monitoring in the field of machinability relevant to horology, in close collaboration with other company specialists.
- HES/EPF Engineer in mechanics or equivalent education, specialization or PhD in machining is an asset.
- Proven experience in chip removal manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of the Tool Material Pair (COM) concept.
- Understanding of machining simulation using finite elements.
- Interest in project management within an industrial environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Rigorous and autonomous with a pronounced sense of organization and planning.
- Dynamic with a good team spirit and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
Proven experience in chip removal manufacturing processes is required.
