Roger Dubuis Incoming Quality Control Intern (Habillage)

1. Perform incoming inspection of habillage components (cases, dials, hands, crowns, straps and related fittings) against technical specifications and sampling plans.
2. Execute dimensional measurements using calipers and micrometers and carry out visual and microscopic examinations to detect cosmetic and functional non-conformities.
3. Record inspection results, maintain traceability of batches and update quality documentation in accordance with internal procedures.
4. Tag, quarantine and generate non-conformance reports for defective or non-compliant parts and liaise with suppliers and production teams to expedite containment actions.
5. Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing observations, root-cause hypotheses and corrective action proposals.
6. Assist senior quality engineers with incoming audits, inspection plan reviews and ad hoc quality projects.

1. Currently enrolled in a recognised programme in watchmaking (horology), mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or quality management.
2. Basic understanding of habillage components and watchmaking terminology.
3. Manual dexterity and the ability to work under a stereo microscope for extended periods.
4. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret dimensional tolerances.
5. Methodical approach, exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
