Roger Dubuis Incoming Quality Control Intern (Habillage)

- Perform incoming inspection of habillage components (cases, dials, hands, crowns, straps and related fittings) against technical specifications and sampling plans.
- Execute dimensional measurements using calipers and micrometers and carry out visual and microscopic examinations to detect cosmetic and functional non-conformities.
- Record inspection results, maintain traceability of batches and update quality documentation in accordance with internal procedures.
- Tag, quarantine and generate non-conformance reports for defective or non-compliant parts and liaise with suppliers and production teams to expedite containment actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing observations, root-cause hypotheses and corrective action proposals.
- Assist senior quality engineers with incoming audits, inspection plan reviews and ad hoc quality projects.
- Currently enrolled in a recognised programme in watchmaking (horology), mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or quality management.
- Basic understanding of habillage components and watchmaking terminology.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to work under a stereo microscope for extended periods.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret dimensional tolerances.
- Methodical approach, exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.

Prior hands-on experience in a workshop or production environment is advantageous but not mandatory; basic exposure to watch components or precision part inspection preferred.
Enrolled in a vocational or tertiary programme in watchmaking (horology), mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or quality/industrial inspection.
