Rimowa Store Technician

- Inspect luggage with clients to assess repair needs.
- Communicate realistic repair expectations regarding quality and timeframe to clients.
- Inform clients about warranty policies and procedures.
- Determine if repairs can be conducted in-store or require client care department intervention.
- Provide clients with updates on repair progress, especially in cases of delays or complications.
- Ensure quality control of luggage before returning to clients.
- Utilize systems such as RMS, spare parts catalogues, and V3 for inventory and repair management.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Organize spare parts and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Perform in-store repairs using appropriate parts and tools, adhering to RIMOWA standards.
- Demonstrate creativity in repairing vintage suitcases lacking original parts.
- Coordinate with the client care department for repairs beyond in-store capabilities.
- Maintain organized stock conditions and ensure product availability.
- Provide KPI reports to the Store Manager.
- Facilitate easy product location for Client Advisors.
- Ensure stockroom accessibility and compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.
- Communicate stock issues to store client advisors.
- Plan and execute stock counts according to RIMOWA procedures.
- Coordinate with headquarters for annual stock counts.
- Validate delivery invoices and supervise stockroom deliveries.
- Liaise with the supply chain team regarding delivery issues.
- Assist the Client Advisor team with sales when repair tasks are not available.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with IT systems including V3, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Comprehensive knowledge of RIMOWA products, brand, and market.
- Adherence to RIMOWA grooming standards.
A minimum of three years of experience in a related field is required, ideally within a retail or skilled manual work environment.
