1. Conduct comprehensive research on emerging trends, technologies, and materials pertinent to the luggage industry.
2. Contribute to brainstorming sessions, developing innovative concepts that address unmet consumer needs and market opportunities.
3. Conduct feasibility studies and produce efficient deliverables to aid decision-making, including virtual and physical prototyping, technical and visual mock-ups, technical analysis and simulations, budget estimations, and risk analysis.
4. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management to secure buy-in and approvals for various innovation projects.
5. Oversee the development and testing of prototypes for new luggage concepts, collaborating with material specialists, engineers, and designers to refine designs and ensure functionality.
6. Identify optimal materials, technologies, and suppliers in collaboration with technical designers to meet product concept requirements.
7. Manage the testing and homologation process for new materials, products, and components in conjunction with Quality and homologation departments.

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial or Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a research and development or innovation setting.
3. Demonstrated experience in bringing new product concepts to life, ideally within the consumer goods industry, specifically luggage or related products.

2. Strong understanding of design thinking principles and innovation methodologies.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
6. Proficiency in project management software and experience with CAD software and design principles.
7. Understanding of intellectual property laws and patent processes.

A minimum of 5 years in project management, ideally within a research and development or innovation context.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial or Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
