Rimowa Production Planning Engineer

- Translate weekly production plans into daily schedules.
- Optimize capacity utilization.
- Coordinate closely with production, warehouse, and pre-production teams.
- Analyze data to prevent bottlenecks.
- Maintain ERP data and communicate changes transparently.
- Coordinate planning for new product launches and engineering change requests.
- Monitor adherence to production plans.
- Calculate and report KPIs such as OTIF.
- Identify root causes and corrective actions for deviations.
- Identify opportunities for waste reduction, efficiency improvement, and service enhancement.
- Engage actively in digital transformation initiatives, from requirement definition to testing and user training.
- Support the development of internal ERP-based planning tools.
- Drive process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma and lead digitalization projects to integrate business needs into system solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning, process improvement, or industrial engineering in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Experience in digitalization or IT projects is a plus.
- Experience in supporting or participating in digital transformation or IT projects, as well as certifications in CPIM, CIPP, or PMP, are advantageous.
- Fluent in German and English (C2 Level).
