Rimowa Procurement Planner

- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to support production needs at the Cambridge site.
- Deploy inventory strategies and manage product changes and material planning implications.
- Handle daily management of supply and constraints, status reporting, and supplier engagement.
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to production schedules.
- Optimize inventory levels based on forecasts and demand variations.
- Manage supplier relationships and develop new local suppliers for cost savings.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supply chain role within a direct manufacturing environment.
- Expert knowledge of forecasting, MRP/ERP systems, and supply chain operations.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French and/or German is advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as CPIM, CPSM, or SCMP are preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
- Adaptability to embrace new technologies and forecast demand changes.
- Risk management capabilities to handle supplier disruptions and currency fluctuations.
- Strong contract management and procurement regulation knowledge.
- Strategic sourcing and market research expertise.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to meeting expectations.
- Agility to manage multiple roles and shifting priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
