Rimowa Payroll Team Lead

- Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, including salary, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation elements.
- Oversee accurate and efficient time management processes, including time tracking, absence management, and overtime calculations.
- Ensure precise and timely payroll calculations, processing, and distribution.
- Manage payroll and time management system configurations, updates, and enhancements.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues.
- Monitor the preparation and submission of all relevant payroll taxes, social security contributions, and other statutory deductions.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation, tax laws, and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to payroll.
- Develop, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the payroll team.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll-related inquiries and time management questions.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll and time management processes.
- Completed commercial training (e.g., industrial clerk) with further training as a personnel specialist or a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll software (ideally DATEV or SAP) and experience with time management systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements in payroll and time management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Teamwork and flexibility.
Minimum 7 years of progressive payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
