- Provide HR consulting to employees, with a focus on line managers.
- Understand business functions and their needs to support talent acquisition and staffing.
- Define job descriptions for effective talent sourcing across Office, Retail, and Client Care divisions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and external consultants to define sourcing channels and fulfill requisitions.
- Build strong relationships with external recruitment partners and educational institutions to meet recruiting goals.
- Monitor and manage the recruitment budget.
- Interview candidates to assess competencies, potential, and cultural fit.
- Manage internal transfers to promote effective internal mobility.
- Address staffing issues, including termination and redundancy, while minimizing legal risks.
- Plan and lead onboarding processes and learning/development initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions for new development initiatives and HR policies.
- Provide advice and support to employees to resolve or prevent employee issues.
- Prepare and conduct performance management and salary review processes.
- Manage HR-related data and provide it to relevant functions such as retail, finance, and headquarters.
- 7+ years of HR experience, particularly in Talent Acquisition at either an agency or in-house.
- Solid understanding of the talent market in the retail industry.
- Understanding of Japan Labor Law, Compensation, and Benefits.
- Japanese fluency and business-level English.
- Experience in the luxury/fashion business is a plus.
- Speed and accuracy in administrative tasks.
