1. Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategies to align with the company's vision and objectives.
2. Design and implement a global quality management system to support worldwide operations.
3. Optimize the structure and effectiveness of the quality and purchasing organizations.
4. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within sourcing, purchasing, and quality.
5. Provide strategic oversight of operational quality assurance across all production sites and supplier networks.
6. Drive the global quality organization to establish and maintain robust quality standards across the entire value chain.
7. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deploy effective global quality solutions.
8. Serve as a key point of contact for strategic alignment and lead root cause analysis and mitigation efforts for quality-related issues.
9. Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
10. Implement advanced analytics within purchasing to develop deep insights into suppliers’ cost structures.
11. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable outcomes for the company.
12. Conduct regular, data-driven supplier performance evaluations and proactively address any issues.
13. Lead, mentor, and develop the sourcing, purchasing, and quality teams to achieve peak performance.
14. Oversee the daily operations of the sourcing, purchasing, and quality functions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
15. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements.

1. Completed technical university degree (Master's/Diploma) or a comparable qualification in engineering, quality management, purchasing, business administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sourcing/purchasing and quality management within a manufacturing environment.
3. 5+ years of leadership experience in both functions.
4. Demonstrated passion for the products and industry.
5. Proven ability to develop and execute effective action plans, manage project deliverables, and present results clearly and concisely.
6. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
7. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of identifying complex issues and developing effective solutions.
8. Strong strategic and conceptual thinking abilities.
9. Experience leading and developing global teams, preferably in an international setting.
10. Fluency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sourcing/purchasing and quality management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Completed technical university degree (Master's/Diploma) or a comparable qualification in engineering, quality management, purchasing, business administration, or a related field.
