Rimowa Head of Final Assembly

- Lead and motivate team members within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with legal and internal company guidelines for occupational safety and health.
- Plan and ensure required capacity based on annual demand planning.
- Ensure timely completion of production orders.
- Adhere to annually agreed efficiency and quality goals, initiating corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Implement and execute continuous improvement measures.
- Conduct annual employee reviews.
- Create and maintain risk assessments, operating instructions, and training materials.
- Responsible for capturing and systematically analyzing daily production data.
- Participate in daily shop floor management and provide KPIs.
- Document deviations in supplier quality and initiate corrective measures.
- Completed technical degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or similar, and/or completed further training as a Technician/Master Craftsman.
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in final assembly, with knowledge in metal processing preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in leading employees and managing processes in a manufacturing company.
- Solid user knowledge in Lean Production is required.
- Engaged and assertive demeanor towards various stakeholders, enabling goal- and result-oriented actions.
- Solution-oriented and independent working style.
- Strong team and communication skills.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Fluent in German and good English skills.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in final assembly and leadership in a manufacturing environment.
A completed technical degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical training.
