Rimowa Head of Final Assembly

1. Lead and motivate team members within the assigned area of responsibility.
2. Ensure compliance with legal and internal company guidelines for occupational safety and health.
3. Plan and ensure required capacity based on annual demand planning.
4. Ensure timely completion of production orders.
5. Adhere to annually agreed efficiency and quality goals, initiating corrective actions when deviations occur.
6. Implement and execute continuous improvement measures.
7. Conduct annual employee reviews.
8. Create and maintain risk assessments, operating instructions, and training materials.
9. Responsible for capturing and systematically analyzing daily production data.
10. Participate in daily shop floor management and provide KPIs.
11. Document deviations in supplier quality and initiate corrective measures.

1. Completed technical degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or similar, and/or completed further training as a Technician/Master Craftsman.
2. Several years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in final assembly, with knowledge in metal processing preferred.
3. At least 3 years of experience in leading employees and managing processes in a manufacturing company.
4. Solid user knowledge in Lean Production is required.
5. Engaged and assertive demeanor towards various stakeholders, enabling goal- and result-oriented actions.
6. Solution-oriented and independent working style.
7. Strong team and communication skills.
8. Hands-on mentality.
9. Proficient in MS Office applications.
10. Fluent in German and good English skills.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in final assembly and leadership in a manufacturing environment.

A completed technical degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical training.
