Rimowa Demand and Planning Manager

- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the procurement team, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials aligning with production plans and inventory targets.
- Oversee scheduling functions to ensure robust production plans that maximize labor output and meet demand.
- Foster seamless integration between procurement and scheduling activities for cohesive supply chain operations.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, including SAP implementation, and drive the adoption of technological advancements like predictive analytics.
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects focused on cost savings and supply chain efficiency.
- Directly manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of two Procurers and one Scheduler.
- Ensure supplier compliance with environmental standards, particularly in preparation for ISO 14001 requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
- Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Hands-on experience with demand planning software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Leadership and influence capabilities to drive consensus on demand forecasts.
- Adaptability to respond quickly to changes in market conditions and customer demand.
- Proficiency in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
Minimum of 5 years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, with related experience in purchasing, logistics, and inventory management systems.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
