Rimowa Client Care Technician

- Inspect used and returned products to assess repair needs.
- Repair or replace defective components using specialized tools.
- Test and adjust repaired products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Estimate repair costs for labor and materials on used and returned products.
- Inspect new products for manufacturing defects or shipping damage and communicate findings.
- Operate computerized inventory systems for tracking service and repair needs.
- Assist the Head Technician in training new technicians and store employees.
- Handle materials manually or with equipment for service and repair needs.
- Perform material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, and packing.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations for safe working conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
- Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Experience as a machine operator or assembler in manufacturing preferred.
- Experience in luggage repair is required.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing or technical environment with hands-on experience using small hand tools is required.
High School diploma or equivalent.
