1. Inspect used and returned products to assess repair needs.
2. Repair or replace defective components using specialized tools.
3. Test and adjust repaired products to ensure compliance with company standards.
4. Estimate repair costs for labor and materials on used and returned products.
5. Inspect new products for manufacturing defects or shipping damage and communicate findings.
6. Operate computerized inventory systems for tracking service and repair needs.
7. Assist the Head Technician in training new technicians and store employees.
8. Handle materials manually or with equipment for service and repair needs.
9. Perform material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, and packing.
10. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations for safe working conditions.
11. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.

1. Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent education.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
3. Experience as a machine operator or assembler in manufacturing preferred.
4. Experience in luggage repair is required.

1. Proficiency with hand and power tools.
2. Attention to detail and quality.
3. Ability to work independently.
4. Physical ability to lift 25 lbs repeatedly.
5. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing or technical environment with hands-on experience using small hand tools is required.

High School diploma or equivalent.
