- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for transport and warehousing activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security and safety standards, and company policies.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Lead and participate in improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance logistics operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, especially the IT department, to design and secure logistic processes.
- Guide external partners to optimize logistic performance.
- Support the implementation of ERP, WMS, and TMS flows.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of LMS, WMS, and TMS.
- Leverage data analytics and technology to drive process improvements and decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transport and warehousing activities.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Provide guidance and support to the logistics team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in logistics, transport, and warehousing management.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including integration with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and be actively involved in field operations.
- Willingness to travel as needed to various warehouse and transport locations, approximately 10-15%.
Minimum 10 years
Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
