- Diagnose and describe the condition of timepieces to be evaluated, identifying root causes of issues in line with client requests.
- Select appropriate services in accordance with brand policies, ensuring client satisfaction and proposing effective solutions.
- Identify necessary spare parts for repairs.
- Dismantle timepieces, including removing straps or bracelets, separating movement/dial/hands from case components, and dismantling case components.
- Prepare cases by assembling components and ensuring waterproofness in preparation for encasing movements.
- Repair movements by analyzing and determining methodologies for calibers, excluding those requiring restoration, using or developing tools to address repair issues.
- Encasing movements by installing dials and hands, performing initial quality control to ensure functionality.
- Maintain workshop organization by adhering to RNA and brand specifications, ensuring tools and equipment are calibrated and maintained, and keeping the workspace clean and safe.
- High School Diploma or GDA required.
- Watchmaking diploma or certification strongly suggested.
- 3-5 years of experience in watchmaking required.
- Experience with luxury brands required.
- Experience in watch and jewelry polishing required.
- High level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver high-quality results efficiently.
- Problem-solving skills using appropriate processes and tools.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in watchmaking, particularly with luxury brands, is required.
High School Diploma or GDA required. Watchmaking diploma or certification strongly suggested.
