Richemont Tax Senior Analyst

- Prepare and reconcile monthly sales and use tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Review monthly sales and use tax returns prepared by third-party providers, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage the accurate calculation and posting of use tax accruals on a monthly basis.
- Review capital expenditure projects and calculate applicable use tax assessments.
- Serve as a primary contact for tax inquiries from state and local tax agencies.
- Research and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance and identify tax savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and support tax-related initiatives.
- Assist with tax audits, preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Tax Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 6-10 years of progressive professional experience with a focus on sales and use tax compliance.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. and Canadian sales and use tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with SAP and Avalara is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6-10 years of progressive professional experience, particularly in sales and use tax compliance, with prior experience in a tax or finance/accounting department.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
