1. Prepare and reconcile monthly sales and use tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
2. Review monthly sales and use tax returns prepared by third-party providers, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
3. Manage the accurate calculation and posting of use tax accruals on a monthly basis.
4. Review capital expenditure projects and calculate applicable use tax assessments.
5. Serve as a primary contact for tax inquiries from state and local tax agencies.
6. Research and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance and identify tax savings opportunities.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and support tax-related initiatives.
8. Assist with tax audits, preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
9. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Tax Manager.

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
2. 6-10 years of progressive professional experience with a focus on sales and use tax compliance.
3. Strong technical knowledge of U.S. and Canadian sales and use tax laws and regulations.

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
2. Experience with SAP and Avalara is preferred.
3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

6-10 years of progressive professional experience, particularly in sales and use tax compliance, with prior experience in a tax or finance/accounting department.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
