- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax regulations through strategic and operational management of direct and indirect tax obligations.
- Validate the calculation and payment of indirect taxes such as PIS, COFINS, IPI, ICMS, ICMS ST, ISS, and withholdings, considering the retail sector's fiscal complexity.
- Validate ancillary obligations including EFD ICMS IPI, EFD Contributions, Reinf, DCTF, DIRF, and other departmental submissions.
- Coordinate updates and compliance of product and supplier tax registrations, ensuring correct tax application (NCM, CST, CFOP, etc.).
- Collaborate with all departments and brands to ensure correct application of tax legislation in operations.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation affecting the company's business sector.
- Manage audits, inspections, and administrative processes with tax authorities.
- Lead initiatives for reviewing and optimizing tax processes, identifying opportunities for credit recovery and risk mitigation.
- Manage and monitor tax parameterization in systems.
- Develop and manage the tax team, fostering a collaborative and continuous learning environment.
- Develop management reports and fiscal performance indicators to support the board.
- Oversee and monitor the implementation of fiscal changes due to tax reform.
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in SAP and Mastersaf/Tax One systems
