Richemont Senior Frontend Software Engineer

1. Design, develop, and maintain API middleware to support frontend functionality and integrate with various backend systems, ensuring security and performance.
2. Utilize and maintain the Alokai platform to develop and integrate solutions, adhering to e-commerce best practices.
3. Develop and maintain user interfaces using Next/React JS, ensuring a responsive, accessible, and engaging user experience.
4. Implement frontend development principles and best practices, including component-based architecture, state management, and testing.
5. Contribute to the design and implementation of composable architectures, promoting code reuse, maintainability, and scalability.
6. Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical guidance.
7. Work with the DevOps Team to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
8. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
9. Assist QA Engineers and Test Managers in defining test strategies and automation frameworks.

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Fluency in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus.
3. 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including design and implementation with Next/React, CSS, Node.js, npm.
4. Solid understanding of frontend development principles and best practices.
5. Understanding of composable architectures and microservices.
6. Experience with e-commerce platforms and technologies.
7. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
8. Experience with API middleware development.
9. Knowledge of Docker-based deployments and proficiency in Nginx.
10. Strong background in security best practices for web applications.
11. Proficiency in unit, integration, and system testing methodologies.
12. Familiarity with IAM tools is a plus.
13. Very good understanding of Agile frameworks.

1. Proficiency in Next/React.js, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js, Tailwind.
2. Familiarity with Alokai platform and Express.js framework.
3. Experience with RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI.
4. Code quality and security tools: SonarQube, Snyk.
5. Version control and build tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, npm.
6. Monitoring and logging tools: Datadog.
7. Project management tools: Atlassian Suite (Confluence/Jira).
8. Experience with Java (17) and Groovy is a plus.
9. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

5+ years of experience in frontend development, including design and implementation with Next/React, CSS, Node.js, npm.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
