1. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAPs and IFRS.
2. Reconcile balance sheet and subsidiary ledger accounts and resolve outstanding items.
3. Post and record business transactions, particularly taxes and provisions.
4. Prepare tax declarations and filings, reconcile tax accounts, and review tax assessments.
5. Manage recurring reports and payments, such as those to tax authorities.
6. Address special tax issues related to income and sales tax.
7. Oversee various tax audits.
8. Serve as a finance partner for valuation, accounting, and tax matters.
9. Act as a liaison for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities.
10. Provide ad-hoc support on general ledger and accounts receivable topics.
11. Support the monitoring of controls within the group-wide internal control system.
12. Contribute to the implementation of new projects.

1. Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting, tax clerk, certified accountant, or comparable education.
2. At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting and/or tax office, ideally in an international environment.
3. Current and practical knowledge of tax and accounting (HGB and IFRS).

1. Proficiency in common accounting systems, preferably SAP R/3 FI, and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
2. Independent, reliable, and deadline-oriented work style.
3. Strong analytical and communication skills.
4. Understanding of complex relationships and excellent process comprehension.
5. Team player with a strong service and customer orientation.
6. Affinity for technical advancement of processes, automation, and digitalization.
7. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting and/or tax office, ideally in an international environment.
