- Lead and advise on all legal, compliance, and corporate affairs matters in Oceania.
- Support all Maisons active in the market with legal expertise.
- Manage and negotiate contracts, including drafting and reviewing business and legal documents such as leasing, marketing, PR, finance, and HR-related agreements.
- Provide legal and regulatory compliance advice on business and operational matters, including consumer law, employment law, health and safety, and trade compliance.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training on relevant legal and compliance topics.
- Provide general legal support to stakeholders and manage external counsel.
- Conduct research and monitor legal updates.
- Coordinate regional and group legal projects.
- Minimum LLB or equivalent degree from a reputable university.
- Qualified as a lawyer in Australia, preferably in New South Wales.
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Dual qualification in Australia and New Zealand is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of business strategies and ability to establish partnerships with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Australian and New Zealand legal practices and laws.
- Strong technical and communication skills.
- Experience in real estate, employment law, retail, or FMCG.
- Commercial acumen, creativity, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Independent, disciplined, and self-motivated with high integrity.
A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as a commercial or corporate lawyer, with prior in-house experience preferred.
Minimum LLB or equivalent degree from a reputable university.
