1. Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with the data product owner.
2. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Airflow.
3. Utilize dbt for data transformation and modeling, ensuring data quality and consistency.
4. Employ Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC), automating the provisioning and management of data infrastructure.
5. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
6. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
7. Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
8. Contribute to the development of data engineering best practices and standards.
9. Manage and maintain data repositories using Git.
10. Automate data-related tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
11. Collaborate with support teams and provide L3 support to comply with predefined service level agreements (SLAs).

1. University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong academic record with coursework or projects related to data engineering, databases, or software development.
3. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.

1. Proficiency in Python and SQL or a strong willingness to rapidly develop these skills.
2. Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services, dbt, Terraform, and Git through academic projects or personal exploration.
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

5. Eagerness to learn and a strong passion for data engineering.
