- Define and execute logistics strategy across UAE operations, ensuring alignment with Group logistics strategy.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team responsible for import/export operations, warehouse and transportation management, and inventory control.
- Provide strategic oversight of internal and external warehouse operations, ensuring service excellence and efficiency.
- Oversee domestic and regional transportation networks, optimizing routes and maintaining delivery service level agreements.
- Manage customs processes, freezone operations, and regulatory compliance for import/export activities.
- Drive inventory control strategy in collaboration with the Inventory Supervisor, ensuring accuracy and optimization.
- Define and monitor KPIs across logistics functions to drive performance and continuous improvement.
- Champion sustainability and compliance goals across UAE logistics activities.
- Act as the key logistics point of contact for internal stakeholders and collaborate on regional and global priorities.
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, typically 8+ years.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE and GCC customs regulations, freezone operations, and trade compliance.
- Strong understanding of international shipping, freight forwarding, and import/export processes.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
- Strategic thinking with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and ERP software.
- Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices.
A minimum of 8 years in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on UAE and GCC regulations and operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
