- Oversee and manage the financial accounting and retail finance operations teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Direct the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and Group standards.
- Promote financial governance and ensure adherence to evolving Accounting and Tax regulations.
- Drive statutory and tax compliance, managing financial statements, audits, income tax returns, and collaborating on Transfer Pricing and the Top 1000 Combined Assurance Program.
- Assess capital requirements and manage loans to support operational needs, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiencies through new technologies.
- Foster team development aligned with company objectives, focusing on growth and development of team members.
- Liaise with Richemont Group Accounting, Group Tax, Group Treasury, Regional Finance, and auditors on accounting, treasury, audit, and tax inquiries.
- Provide operational guidance as the finance subject matter expert and engage in retail operational challenges and fintech projects.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent) with strong knowledge of IFRS and Tax regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant management experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong commercial acumen with business partnering experience and the ability to influence.
- Confident and tactful in dealing with different management levels, with the courage to lead the finance agenda.
- Leadership and people management skills to attract and develop talent.
- Ability to adapt to new Accounting and Tax regulations independently.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management within a matrix environment.
- Expertise in resource planning and process efficiency.
- Experience in leading transformation and simplification initiatives.
Minimum 5 years of management experience in accounting or auditing, with a preference for candidates with retail industry exposure.
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent).
