1. Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with IFRS, South African regulatory standards, and Richemont's financial policies.
2. Conduct reviews and reconciliations of general ledger accounts to verify accuracy and adherence to regulations.
3. Post verified general ledger entries with supporting documentation.
4. Enter financial data into general ledger accounts monthly and prepare reports for decision-making processes.
5. Review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and control.
6. Collaborate with Maisons and Functions to gather, analyze, and interpret financial information.
7. Analyze general ledger accounts and calculate accruals in compliance with policies.
8. Update, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating variances and outstanding items.
9. Prepare and post entries for prepayments and accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
10. Support sales interface, reconciliation, and adjustments in accordance with policies.
11. Review and support daily wholesale and retail sales interfaces in SAP.
12. Maintain detailed records and supporting documents in the Finance document storage system.
13. Perform vendor statement of accounts reconciliation in conjunction with the AP Controller.
14. Review open purchase orders and invoices, resolving aged items with Accounts Payable and Procurement Team.
15. Prepare bank reconciliation schedules and investigate variances.
16. Run depreciation and create fixed assets reports monthly, including CAPEX Management Report.
17. Maintain and update lease agreements in compliance with IFRS 16.
18. Perform monthly valuation run and post related adjusting entries.
19. Coordinate technical issues with appropriate departments.
20. Manage SAP ERP Masterdata, including vendor workflow data and Concur administration.
21. Support internal and external audits, implementing recommendations for improvement.
22. Conduct regular tests of controls with supporting documentation.
23. Perform balance confirmations and checks in line with internal control requirements.
24. Manage Inter-Co accounts and oversee advertising and promotion activities.
25. Engage in ad hoc activities related to the general ledger function.

1. B.Com/Finance Graduate with Honours
2. Accounting certification and professional qualification is an advantage

1. Strong accounting background
2. Proficiency in computerized accounting systems, especially SAP
3. Knowledge of International Accounting Standards/IFRS
4. Good knowledge of South African VAT regulations
5. Excellent Microsoft software skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills

10. Compliance competencies related to accounting standards and policies
11. High level of personal integrity and confidentiality management
12. Ability to work within a matrix organization

A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in general ledger accounting. Audit experience is an advantage.
