Richemont Development Purchasing Coordinator

- Coordinate purchasing and sourcing activities for product development — from initial RFQ through prototype to industrialisation.
- Manage supplier relationships including qualification, performance monitoring and corrective actions to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Prepare and analyse costings, bill of materials (BOM) and price proposals to support margin objectives during development phases.
- Collaborate closely with design, product development, quality and production teams to translate technical specifications into purchasable components and materials.
- Track development timelines and purchasing milestones, escalating risks and proposing mitigation to meet launch schedules.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts and supplier records in line with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Support negotiations with vendors on price, lead times and terms, and coordinate small-volume sourcing for prototypes and pre-series.
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and purchasing workflows within a product development context.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost breakdowns, BOM management and price negotiation.
- Excellent organisational skills with a track record of driving cross-functional projects to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with quality and compliance processes relevant to components and materials.
- Professional demeanour, strong communication skills and ability to interact with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Approximately 2–4 years of hands-on experience in purchasing/procurement or sourcing within fashion, luxury goods, or manufacturing environments, with demonstrable exposure to product development cycles and supplier management.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Fashion Technology or related discipline; further training in procurement or supply chain is advantageous.
