1. Conduct a comprehensive review of current chemometric analysis methods and associated data processing techniques, particularly spectral data.
2. Ensure the acquisition and processing of measurements, adhering to established techniques, and propose necessary improvements.
3. Apply and evaluate the existing chemometric analysis protocol across various applications, suggesting and implementing enhancements.
4. Document work in the form of technical notes and regularly communicate findings through presentations.

1. Enrollment in a Master's program or equivalent in a relevant field.
2. Strong background in data science with an interest in materials science and gemology.

1. Proficiency in spectral analysis methods and machine learning.
2. Experience with Python for implementing analytical methods.
3. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
4. Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Experience in data science, particularly in spectral analysis and machine learning applications.

Currently pursuing a Master's degree or equivalent.
