Richemont Cutting Assistant

- Support the cutting room team in the layout, spreading and cutting of fabrics according to technical markers and production schedules.
- Prepare and maintain cutting tools and machinery (band/round knives, cutting tables), ensuring cleanliness and safe operation.
- Accurately transfer pattern markings and notches to fabric and trim, respecting grainlines and marker efficiency.
- Perform visual and dimensional quality checks on cut pieces and report defects to line leads.
- Manage fabric returns, scrap segregation and basic material inventory for the cutting area.
- Follow health, safety and ergonomic procedures; contribute to a tidy, compliant workshop environment.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, sewers and production planners to ensure timely flow of components.
- Applicant must belong to the protected categories covered by Italian Law 68/99 (appartenente alle categorie protette).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with steady hand‑eye coordination.
- Ability to read technical markers, measurements and simple pattern instructions.
- Understanding of fabric behaviour (stretch, nap, pile) and handling techniques.
- Availability to work standard production shifts and to stand for extended periods.

Practical experience in a cutting room or garment production environment is preferred — typically 1–3 years; prior work in luxury, bespoke or made‑to‑measure production is an asset but not mandatory.
Vocational diploma in textiles, fashion or a related craft; or equivalent on‑the‑job training and demonstrable practical skills.
