Richemont Accountant

1. Execute month‑end and year‑end close activities for assigned entities, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
2. Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of balance sheet accounts, intercompany positions and subledger reconciliations (AR/AP/Inventory/Fixed assets).
3. Prepare timely local management and statutory reports in accordance with group templates and reporting deadlines.
4. Support statutory audits and internal control reviews by preparing schedules, responding to auditor queries and implementing audit recommendations.
5. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulatory requirements; liaise with regional finance and tax teams on complex accounting matters.
6. Drive continuous improvement of processes and controls, including automation initiatives and documentation of standard operating procedures.
7. Collaborate with commercial, supply chain and retail teams to provide financial analyses, cost control and variance explanations.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
2. Professional accounting qualification preferred (e.g., CPA, ACCA, HKICPA) or progress towards certification.
3. Strong knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with local Hong Kong reporting requirements.
4. Demonstrable experience with month‑end close, reconciliations and statutory audit support.

Typically 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience within a multinational environment; prior exposure to retail, luxury goods or manufacturing finance is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field; professional accounting certification preferred.
