- Adhere to safety protocols during all operations.
- Select and prepare necessary tools for polishing tasks.
- Inspect and analyze the surface condition of silver and brass pieces.
- Perform various levels of polishing, from rough to mirror-finish, following specific instructions.
- Repair surface defects such as pits and scratches.
- Utilize 'pierrage' technique to correct surface flatness.
- Degrease, clean, and dry polished pieces.
- Ensure pieces meet specifications for size, symmetry, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Document activity data including manufacturing steps and time.
- Collaborate closely with fellow artisans and quality control to meet delivery and quality objectives.
- Participate in equipment cleaning and maintenance operations.
- Contribute to continuous operational improvement initiatives.
- Follow directives from the workshop supervisor.
- Experience in polishing and/or finishing is advantageous.
