Puiforcat, a distinguished subsidiary of the Hermès Group since 1993, is renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship in silversmithing. With a unique style influenced by Jean Puiforcat's designs from the 1920s and 1930s, the house continues to reissue its most beautiful heritage pieces while collaborating with leading contemporary designers to create the classics of tomorrow. Puiforcat employs approximately fifty artisans, primarily at its Silversmithing Workshop in Pantin.

1. Adhere to safety protocols during all operations.
2. Select and prepare necessary tools for polishing tasks.
3. Inspect and analyze the surface condition of silver and brass pieces.
4. Perform various levels of polishing, from rough to mirror-finish, following specific instructions.
5. Repair surface defects such as pits and scratches.
6. Utilize 'pierrage' technique to correct surface flatness.
7. Degrease, clean, and dry polished pieces.
8. Ensure pieces meet specifications for size, symmetry, aesthetics, and functionality.
9. Document activity data including manufacturing steps and time.
10. Collaborate closely with fellow artisans and quality control to meet delivery and quality objectives.
11. Participate in equipment cleaning and maintenance operations.
12. Contribute to continuous operational improvement initiatives.
13. Follow directives from the workshop supervisor.
