- Drive wholesale sales by establishing and nurturing client relationships.
- Exceed personal and departmental sales goals as set by Senior Management.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with wholesale accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Oversee a portfolio of clientele, vendors, and accounts, managing product and inventory movement.
- Promote and sell new business through suggestive sales techniques.
- Develop and analyze sales programs, implementing necessary adjustments.
- Establish and monitor sales goals, implementing action plans as needed.
- Evaluate and recommend advertising and PR strategies to enhance brand awareness.
- Train and coach vendor and account representatives in product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Continuously engage with customers and prospects to promote product information.
- Assess potential new clients and submit recommendations for corporate review.
- Adhere to established sales policies and procedures, ensuring accurate customer information.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Stay informed on new product information and business trends.
- Facilitate collections as requested by Accounts Receivable or Wholesale Senior Management.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, sales meetings, and trunk shows as required.
- Travel to customer locations for sales calls and training sessions.
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy to achieve regional sales goals and profitability.
- Provide feedback to Senior Management on market trends and results.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budgets.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through regular contact.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in jewelry or luxury goods.
- Located in a travel hub on the West Coast of the United States.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, proactive, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to develop plans, establish priorities, and organize activities for sales growth.
- Capacity to build strong client relationships.
- Willingness to travel frequently, including international travel.
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
A minimum of three years in sales within the jewelry or luxury goods industry, with a preference for wholesale experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
