Watch Laboratory Technician

1. Conduct development and qualification work on prototypes and existing products, including movements and watch components, in collaboration with the laboratory engineer and designer.
2. Assemble parts of prototypes and perform necessary watchmaking adjustments.
3. Perform measurements according to defined test protocols and analyze results.
4. Enter test results into the system.
5. Compare results and highlight discrepancies from product specifications and expected performance.
6. Participate in diagnosing failure points and investigate causes.
7. Write reports on results, present them, and defend them if necessary.

1. Diploma as a Microtechnology Technician ES, ideally with a specialization in watch laboratory, or a CFC in Watchmaking with 5 years of experience in a similar role.

1. Excellent knowledge of laboratory measuring instruments and proficiency in their use.
2. Knowledge of watchmaking standards is an advantage.
3. Strong writing skills for report preparation.
4. Proficiency in MS Office and database management tools.
5. Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, organizational skills, and autonomy.
6. Analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, and precision.
7. Open personality oriented towards problem-solving.
8. Assertiveness, diplomacy, interpersonal skills, and dynamism.

5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the watchmaking industry.

Diploma as a Microtechnology Technician ES or CFC in Watchmaking.
