Patek Philippe Mechanical Modeling Engineer

- Conduct analysis of horological mechanical systems using static and dynamic simulations to validate functionality and enhance watch performance.
- Participate in the evaluation and development of new mechanical sizing tools.
- Assist project teams in meeting expected operational and quality objectives.
- Monitor prototype testing and validate selected options.
- Propose solutions, material choices, and define appropriate geometries, providing necessary technical and scientific justifications.
- Draft written reports and presentations.
- Collaborate in the filing of patents.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Microtechnology, or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in numerical simulation, preferably within the watchmaking sector.
- Expertise in finite element simulation software, preferably Ansys and LS Dyna.
- Proficiency in CAD software, ideally Solidworks.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Analytical and problem-solving orientation.
- Assertiveness, diplomacy, strong interpersonal skills, and dynamism.
- Ability to work in a team and engage in self-reflection.
2 to 5 years of experience in numerical simulation, preferably in the watchmaking industry.
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Microtechnology, or equivalent qualification.
