- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, volumes, and quality requirements with suppliers.
- Establish purchase contracts incorporating all necessary technical, legal, and economic guarantees.
- Monitor costs and purchasing budgets across the portfolio.
- Manage the lifecycle of orders: validating purchase requests, creating orders, receiving, and invoicing.
- Identify new suppliers that meet the company's needs within the assigned purchasing category.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, performance, capacity, financial stability, and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop a reliable supplier panel and maintain long-term relationships with strategic partners.
- Conduct regular benchmarks to compare market offers in terms of price, technicality, and capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (logistics, production, quality, R&D, commercial) to anticipate needs and ensure optimal coordination.
- Implement performance indicators and monitor results qualitatively and quantitatively.
- Audit and support suppliers to enhance their performance and align them with Patek Philippe SA standards.
- Conduct regular supplier visits to manage priorities, delays, forecasts, or capacity needs.
- Ensure compliance with the origin of purchased items (preferential and non-preferential) in connection with Patek Philippe SA's authorized exporter status.
- Ensure the implementation of the purchasing strategy and adherence to contractual commitments and company values.
- Engineering degree or equivalent, with a specialization in Purchasing.
- Expertise in negotiation techniques and a strong understanding of logistics flows.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and office tools (MS Office).
- Fluency in French and English (C1 level), both spoken and written.
- Analytical mindset, autonomy, service orientation, complexity management, client and results orientation.
5 to 10 years of experience in marketing, media, advertising, or customer experience purchasing within the luxury sector, ideally in watchmaking.
Engineering degree or equivalent, with a specialization in Purchasing.
