Senior Manager, Retail & Operations

- Develop and redesign operational processes for current and future business needs.
- Optimize efficiency and future-proof operations.
- Provide operational input and execute activities in support of retail stores.
- Manage pipeline of future openings in partnership with Retail Business Development.
- Track retail operations spend versus total budget.
- Partner cross-functionally to execute retail openings and activations.
- Support CRM integration and outreach.
- Project manage and roll out new technologies, policies, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot operational problems with relevant departments.
- Coordinate services with external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and promote a positive work environment.
- Develop and conduct retail operations training programs.
- Ensure regular presence in stores and gather feedback.
- Support on-the-ground during openings and provide post-opening care.
- Review store performance and coordinate stock takes.
- 5-7 years of experience in vertical retail, D2C organization, project management, and financials/budgeting.
- Experience in beauty and fragrances or luxury fashion environment.
- Experience in design, development, and operation of vertical retail environments.
- Understanding of IoT and retail technology complexities.
- Experience in a free-standing retail store is a plus.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to be hands-on.
- Ability to leverage financial reports to drive business.
- Exceptional computer skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant fields, ideally within the beauty and fragrances or luxury fashion industry.
Salary range of $120,000-$145,000, with flexibility based on expertise, performance, and tenure.
Ability to travel within the market up to 25-50%. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and overnight as needed.
