Parfums Christian Dior Retail Design Intern

- Oversee new counter builds, refurbishments, and design initiatives from conception to implementation.
- Create innovative POS designs that align with merchandising guidelines to enhance brand visibility.
- Negotiate with brand partners to uphold the brand image.
- Design and prototype new counter builds creatively.
- Provide project plans, designs, and technical specifications to international purchasers for cost estimation.
- Collaborate with local suppliers to ensure accurate design application and high-quality production.
- Conduct quality control of new builds, providing feedback to suppliers as needed.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking and raising purchase orders, ensuring all suppliers are paid within budget constraints.
- Oversee warehouse storage management, ensuring reuse of fixtures where possible.
- Background in architecture or design with retail application preferred.
- Familiarity with the cosmetic market is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong design process understanding and planning skills with attention to detail.
- High levels of creativity and aesthetic sense.
- Ability to understand and defend brand DNA.
- Proficiency in visualizing store environments and enhancing customer journeys.
- Team player with strong organizational and priority management skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in product design and prototype management.
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of furniture and materials for counter builds.
Beginner level experience is acceptable, with a focus on design and retail applications.
Architectural or design-related education is preferred.
