Responsibilities
- Guarantee accurate and qualitative brand image through all new store openings in the UK and Ireland according to company guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of the Dior image in the UK and Ireland through the design, build, and installation of new counters and fragrance backwalls.
- Innovate existing counters to incorporate newly developed furniture.
- Ensure the integrity of all institutional brand requirements across Fragrance, Make Up, and Skincare.
- Support the Merchandising Team to maintain consistent Dior brand values and messages in-store.
- Take responsibility for new counter builds, refurbishments, and design initiatives from conception to implementation.
- Produce creative POS designs in accordance with merchandising guidelines to optimize brand visibility.
- Challenge and negotiate with brand partners to ensure brand image is not compromised.
- Creatively design and prototype new counter builds.
- Provide project plans, designs, and technical specifications to the international purchaser to obtain costings.
- Work with local suppliers ahead of installations to ensure accurate application of designs and technical specifications.
- Quality control of new builds, providing feedback to suppliers where necessary.
- Manage project budgets, track and raise purchase orders, ensuring all suppliers are paid within the project budget.
- Manage warehouse storage, reusing fixtures where possible.
- Support the VM Manager with permanent project rollouts.
- Raise purchase orders for all Fragrance projects and check actuals monthly in the budget.
- Organize tester orders for sites and windows.
- Assist with site installations in London and the UK, especially around Christmas.
- Support the VM manager in rolling out the new permanent TPS & TFS Backwall concept.
Qualifications
- Architectural or Designer background with retail application preferable
- Knowledge of the cosmetic market is an asset but not essential

- Good sense of design process, planning, and attention to detail
- High levels of creativity and aesthetic sense
- Ability to understand and defend the brand DNA
- Ability to visualize store environments and enhance the customer journey
- Team player
- Ability to organize and manage priorities for self and team
- Negotiation skills
- Product design and management of prototypes
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), 3D CAD (Vectorworks, Google Sketch-Up)
- Knowledge of furniture and materials for counter builds
- Good relationship builder
