Parfums Christian Dior Retail Design and Fragrance Visual Merchandising Intern

- Oversee new counter builds, refurbishments, and design initiatives from conception to implementation.
- Create innovative POS designs in line with merchandising guidelines to enhance brand visibility.
- Negotiate with brand partners to uphold the brand image.
- Design and prototype new counter builds creatively.
- Provide project plans, designs, and technical specifications for cost estimation.
- Collaborate with local suppliers to ensure design accuracy and quality production.
- Conduct quality control of new builds and provide feedback to suppliers.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking and processing purchase orders.
- Maintain awareness of warehouse storage and promote fixture reuse.
- Support the Visual Merchandising Manager with permanent project rollouts.
- Raise purchase orders for fragrance projects and monitor budget adherence.
- Organize tester orders for sites and windows.
- Assist with site installations, particularly during peak seasons like Christmas.
- Aid in the rollout of new permanent backwall concepts.
- Architectural or design background with retail application preferred.
- Knowledge of the cosmetic market is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong design process understanding and attention to detail.
- High levels of creativity and aesthetic sense.
- Ability to uphold and defend brand DNA.
- Proficiency in visualizing store environments and enhancing customer journeys.
- Team collaboration skills.
- Effective organization and priority management.
- Negotiation skills.
- Experience in product design and prototype management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of furniture and materials for counter builds.
Beginner level experience in retail design or visual merchandising is required.
Architectural or design-related education is preferred.
