- Design primary packaging components for new product launches, ensuring alignment with marketing and packaging creation teams.
- Analyze and interpret 3D CAD files and physical prototypes validated by Marketing and Packaging Creation.
- Collaborate with the Packaging Development Project Manager to explore technical solutions.
- Model packaging using 3D CAD software, integrating technical constraints and addressing any discrepancies.
- Participate in risk analysis processes (AMDEC) for product and process development.
- Engage in technical briefings with packaging suppliers, potentially visiting production or packaging sites.
- Validate technical plans and contribute to tooling development.
- Share expertise on materials and transformation processes with Project Managers and provide technical support to creative teams.
- Report project progress and potential issues to the Axis Manager.
- Conduct active research on new products and packaging technologies to propose innovative, environmentally friendly solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical design or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cosmetics sector.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly Solid Edge.
- Operational technical English skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Creativity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent spatial vision and attention to detail.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, with a proven track record in the cosmetics industry.
