- Lead and implement North American marketing strategies for the makeup category, focusing on topline growth and market share enhancement.
- Plan and execute launch programs, adapting them for the North American market, including forecasting launch quantities and managing comprehensive 360-launch plans.
- Develop and implement Sephora-specific strategies, ensuring strong execution of programming, promotions, and initiatives in collaboration with the Sephora Key Account Director.
- Collaborate with the Makeup Marketing team to develop and communicate a seasonal marketing calendar.
- Cultivate a strong working relationship with the MOPS team to address market-specific needs and provide feedback on launches.
- Issue quarterly trend reports, including competitive information, new product launches, and social media trends.
- Drive merchandising initiatives across all distribution channels, including Sephora, department stores, and online platforms.
- Work closely with e-retail and dior.com teams for product copy, assets, forecasting, and planning.
- Ensure adherence to creative and purchasing timelines.
- Customize programming per retailer in collaboration with Key Account Managers to maximize sales and visibility.
- Develop accurate and strategic forecasts for new products in partnership with Sales Administration and Supply Chain.
- Track retail sales and product performance to anticipate market changes.
- Forecast testers and merchandising units to optimize efficiency and inventory management.
- Collaborate with Education to evolve marketing strategies for seasonal seminars.
- Prepare and present marketing calendars and support programs at seasonal sales conferences.
- Propose retail pricing recommendations for new products and existing SKUs.
- Liaise with Operations to ensure timely program delivery and highlight potential issues.
- Complete additional projects and analyses as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in the beauty industry, particularly within the North American market.
- Color experience required; prestige makeup experience preferred.
- Proven track record in people management.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and judgment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; NPD analytical skills preferred.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strategic thinker with strong forecasting and budget experience.
- Proactive and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Influential team player and consensus builder.
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in the beauty industry, specifically within the North American market, working with product development teams abroad.
LVMH Inc. offers a competitive salary range as a guideline, with flexibility to recognize and reward expertise, performance, and tenure. The salary range for this position is $107,000.00 - $130,000.00, though the company reserves the right to pay outside this range.
