1. Ensure optimal functioning of all equipment through regular maintenance and efficient execution of unscheduled repairs.
2. Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on electrical and mechanical components of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyor systems and sortation.
3. Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as AC/DC electrical motors and drives.
4. Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical components such as belts, chains, and cables.
5. Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and other electronic components.
6. Conduct routine office and warehouse repairs, including carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
7. Utilize multi-meters and infrared thermometers for equipment diagnostics.
8. Read and interpret basic electrical and electronic schematics.
9. Use a computer maintenance management system to manage work orders and track maintenance activities.
10. Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all organizational levels.
11. Adhere to safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required.
12. Ensure compliance with OSHA and local code requirements.
13. Maintain a clean and secure work environment.
14. Coordinate with outside contractors for maintenance and emergency services.
15. Work weekends or off-shift hours as needed to support equipment maintenance.
16. Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

1. 2-4 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in a distribution center setting.
2. High level of mechanical repair knowledge, particularly with conveyor systems.
3. Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of MHE peripherals.
4. Basic knowledge of electrical motors and circuits.
5. Familiarity with PLC programs and HMIs preferred.
6. Forklift certification preferred.
7. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift regularly across an 8-hour shift.

Salary range of $60,000.00 - $85,000.00, with flexibility based on expertise and performance.
