Parfums Christian Dior Maintenance Mechanic

- Ensure optimal functioning of all equipment through regular maintenance and efficient execution of unscheduled repairs.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on electrical and mechanical components of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyor systems and sortation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as AC/DC electrical motors and drives.
- Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical components such as belts, chains, and cables.
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and other electronic components.
- Conduct routine office and warehouse repairs, including carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
- Utilize multi-meters and infrared thermometers for equipment diagnostics.
- Read and interpret basic electrical and electronic schematics.
- Use a computer maintenance management system to manage work orders and track maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all organizational levels.
- Adhere to safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and local code requirements.
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for maintenance and emergency services.
- Work weekends or off-shift hours as needed to support equipment maintenance.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.
- 2-4 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in a distribution center setting.
- High level of mechanical repair knowledge, particularly with conveyor systems.
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of MHE peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of electrical motors and circuits.
- Familiarity with PLC programs and HMIs preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift regularly across an 8-hour shift.
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Proficiency with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Basic electrical and electronic diagnostic skills.
- Computer literacy for maintenance management systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in task assignments.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a preference for experience in a distribution center environment.
Salary range of $60,000.00 - $85,000.00, with flexibility based on expertise and performance.
