Parfums Christian Dior Finance Director, Travel Retail Europe

- Monitor, plan, and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Partner with regional and local teams to establish financial objectives, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business goals.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management across the region.
- Animate the budget processes in accordance with HQ finance instructions and contribute to setting assumptions for Sell Out, Sell-In, and CAPEX.
- Ensure the achievement of Net Sales objectives, control, analyze, and challenge achievements, risks, and opportunities during monthly closings and landing exercises.
- Challenge and validate CAPEX requests and follow the post-mortem performance of approved projects.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budget vs. actual analysis, and variance reports.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights to senior management regarding financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor key financial metrics such as revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability, and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with regional and local teams to align financial goals, streamline processes, and support business initiatives.
- Act as a financial advisor to regional and local stakeholders, offering insights, recommendations, and decision support to drive financial success.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the travel retail, consumer goods, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation, including familiarity with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the travel retail, consumer goods, or related industries.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
