Finance Director, Travel Retail Europe
Parfums Christian Dior is a leading luxury brand within the Perfumes & Cosmetics sector, known for its innovative products and strong presence in the travel retail market across Europe.
- Monitor, plan, and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Partner with regional and local teams to establish financial objectives, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business goals.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management across the region.
- Animate the budget processes and contribute to setting assumptions for Sell Out, Sell-In, and CAPEX.
- Ensure the achievement of Net Sales objectives and analyze risks and opportunities during monthly closings.
- Challenge and validate CAPEX requests and follow the performance of approved projects.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements and variance reports.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to senior management regarding financial performance.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with regional and local teams to align financial goals and support business initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation, including familiarity with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the travel retail, consumer goods, or related industries.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for regional and worldwide seminars/meetings.
