- Lead the operational regulatory affairs team for cosmetics and OTC drugs in the USA and Canada.
- Serve as the primary contact for governmental agencies in the USA and Canada regarding regulatory affairs.
- Operationalize new laws and regulations pertaining to cosmetics and OTC drugs.
- Represent the company on scientific topics at US and Canadian trade associations.
- Identify and action opportunities to drive the beauty business on cosmetic and OTC drug regulations.
- Monitor competitive market trends and health authority activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Advocacy regulatory team to evaluate operational impacts of regulatory changes.
- Lead operational questions linked to cosmetics and OTC drug regulations.
- Drive internal processes for product launch preparations, notifications, and registrations in the USA and Canada.
- Deliver key projects within timelines and regulatory compliance.
- Provide leadership and development opportunities within the regulatory team.
- Professional experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Legal, or related science.
- 10 years of experience in Cosmetic Regulatory Affairs.
- 5 years of demonstrated people-management experience.
- Fluent knowledge of USA and Canada cosmetic and drug regulations.
- Fluency or working knowledge of French is a plus.
- Proven leadership in driving, negotiating, and executing processes.
- Ability to interpret applicable regulations and think strategically.
- Creative problem-solving skills for complex regulatory issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to meet internal and governmental deadlines with high accuracy.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in PowerPoint and MS Excel.
A minimum of 10 years in Cosmetic Regulatory Affairs, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Professional experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Legal, or related science.
The salary range is $160,000.00 - $200,000.00, with flexibility based on expertise, performance, and tenure.
